When Malaysia were struck for the first time by the H1N1 pandemics and almost institutions in Malaysia including UiTM decided to take a break to prevent the pandemics to spread in the University.
Before the breaks the UiTM were full of students having fever and similar symptoms as H1N1..Students attendance declined...
During the one week break...I've decided to have a sudden trip to Pangkor.
The journey...
Me and my friends departed from Shah Alam at 12 midnight. Ive never been to Pangkor, me and friend start to guess the right route to Pangkor. The only clue that we have is that Pangkor is near to UiTM branch campus in Seri Iskandar. We headed to Perak using the SNE highway.
We arrived at Lumut around 4 a.m.I spent the night at my friend's and the others chose hotel for accomodation.
The next day we took the ferry to the Island at 8.30 am. The ferry ride is cheap. The return ticket is RM10 and it is valid for a month.
About 30 minutes later, we arrived at the Nipah Bay
The view is picturesque....took a van to the Nipah Bay...Arrived at the beach we change into our swimming attire and dived into the sea..Tempted by the clear water we forgot to fill our stomache .Spent about five hours at the beach. We explore the island before we leave. There are so many activities that we can do there..Diving, fishing, surfing, sun bathing and so on.We are so hungry that each us can fill 2 McD burgers later....
At 7.00 we took ferry to The Lumut Jetty and headed home.....
Guess what...the journey only only cost us Rm100 per pax, the fuel, toll, food, ferry ride and so on..
Holidays in Malaysia is not that bad for a student like me...!!!!!
